The accolades continue to roll in for The Prestige Hotel Penang, as it adds yet another prestigious title to its growing list of achievements.
At the recent 2025 World’s Travel & Hotel Awards hosted by ULife Media, the hotel was honoured with the coveted “Best Stylish Hotel” award — a testament to its distinct blend of design, hospitality, and guest experience.
Speaking on the win, General Manager Melvin Ooi expressed his pride and appreciation, noting that The Prestige Hotel was the only property in Penang to be recognised at this year’s ceremony.
He attributed the award to the hard work and dedication of the hotel team, as well as the ongoing support from guests who continue to choose The Prestige as their preferred stay.
“This award is not only a reflection of our commitment to excellence in design and service, but also a recognition of the trust and loyalty of our guests,” Ooi said.
The hotel was in prestigious company, with other winners in the “Best Stylish Hotel” category including INNSiDE by Melia Bangkok Sukhumvit, W Hong Kong, Mumian Chengdu, EQ Kuala Lumpur, Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, Coedis Shanghai Seaworld, and Patina Osaka.
The awards night also celebrated excellence across a range of categories, including Best Fashion Design Hotel, Best Beach Resort Hotel, Best City Resort Hotel, Best MICE Hotel, Best Family Hotel, Best Business Hotel, Best Wedding Hotel, and Best Lifestyle Hotel, among others.
This isn’t the only feather in the cap for The Prestige Hotel this year. Earlier in October, the hotel was named “Best Hotel in Penang” at the prestigious TTG Travel Awards 2025, held at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok, Thailand.
With its growing list of accolades, The Prestige Hotel Penang continues to set the benchmark for excellence in hospitality — not just in Penang, but across the region.
