Ms Yap Mei Kuan
As for Yap, she too comes with many years of experience in the area of sales and marketing.
In her new role, Yap will be tasked with elevating the sales for the company and strengthening the identity of their products.
She oversees sales and marketing Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel, Langkawi Pool Villa@Lavanya, Cenang Mall and Liquid Valley.
“I also intend to expand our marketing activities and pave the way with innovative sales strategies and marketing directions,” she said.
Hailing from Petaling Jaya, Selangor, she had moved to Langkawi and now splits her time between Langkawi and a small portion in Kuala Lumpur.
“I moved to Langkawi because my husband absolutely adores this stunning island. My immediate plans are to make more money for my new Boss”, she exclaimed.
Prior to joining PL Soon Huat, Yap has served as a hotelier in several hotels in the Sales & Marketing division.
“I took a leap and became a business owner in the fascinating world of fashion jewelry, following my passion. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 situation forced me to discontinue the business. I am also a licensed estate planner, adding another dimension to my journey”she added.
Among the hotels she had served are The Andaman Langkawi, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Suites Kuala Lumpur, Huvafen Fushi, Maldives, Hotel Access Network, Kuala Lumpur, Palace of the Golden Horses, and Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel, Selangor to name a few.
