Penang Marriott Hotel relaunched its Lava Java outlet after a short hiatus recently.
Leading the ceremony was general manager, Michael Farag and his team members.
In his short welcoming address, Faraq shared his delight on the opening and welcoming back regular guests.
“The official reopening today is also in conjunction with International Coffee Day. We’re delighted to welcome our guests back to Lava Java with a refreshed ambiance and a new energy,”said Mr. Michael Farag, the Multi-Property General Manager of Penang Marriott Hotel.
“This reopening is about creating a space where guests can relax, connect and enjoy coffee in new and unexpected ways. We’re excited to introduce these new offerings and invite our guests to experience Lava Java from a fresh perspective.” he added.
The reopening introduces three exciting new offerings like the ‘Cofftail’ Series, Edible Mug Coffee Series, and exclusive Lava Java Coffee Mug, bringing together creativity, coffee and a new sense of discovery at Lava Java.
Three New Offerings at Lava Java
1. The ‘Cofftail’ Series:
Taking coffee beyond the traditional cup, the new ‘Cofftail’ Series blends carefully crafted coffee with cocktail-inspired flavours and presentation. Featuring five creative tea- and coffee-based creations, the series includes both zero-proof and spirit-infused options, offering a fresh take on coffee mixology. Each creation is priced at RM19.00 nett.
2. The Edible Mug Coffee Series:
Adding a playful and memorable twist, the Edible Mug Coffee Series features Matcha Latte and Mocha Latte served in specially crafted edible cups designed to complement the flavours of each beverage. Each is priced at RM18.90 nett.
3. Exclusive Lava Java Coffee Mug: Making its debut on 1 October, the signature Lava Java Coffee Mug offers more than a stylish and reusable coffee companion. Priced at RM45.00 nett, guests who purchase the mug in October will enjoy one month of complimentary selected coffee, giving them an extra reason to return and enjoy their favourite Lava Java creations.

Guests at the ceremony also enjoyed live music, curated gourmet bites and door gifts, creating a lively and memorable celebration of coffee and community.
