Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak was awarded the Honorary Doctorate in International Relations by the Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) at the university’s 62nd convocation ceremony recently.
Also present was Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow and a host of dignitaries.
The award was in recognition of Tun’s leadership and dedication during his service at the Foreign Ministry.
Meanwhile, Tun expressed his deep appreciation for the award presentation.
“This is indeed a great honour to be awarded this award and a very meaningful moment for me. It will also give me encouragement and commitment to further promote international relations”, said Tun in his speech.
