Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow received his second covid-10 vaccine dose at the Penang General Hospital around 12.10pm today.
Also receiving their second dose was Penang Chief Minister 1 Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman Takiyuddin and Penang Chief Minister 11, Prof P. Ramasamy.
“We have received the second dose and we are all feeling fine.
“In Penang, some 444,185 people registered as of March 21 to receive the covid-19 vaccination.
“Meanwhile 28,316 people in phase have been vaccinated. Only 3,000 are waiting to be vaccinated for the first dose.
“With regards to the clusters at the Immigration Detention Centre in Juru and the cluster in factories, we call on the Ministry of Health to analyse the situation. We hope greater enforcement on these clusters can be heightened.
“We also hope that workers in the factories can be prioritised for vaccination,” said Chow in a press statement.
