A team from Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau led by its chief executive officer Ashwin Gunasekeran made a courtesy call on two newly opened hotels in Penang.
First was the Holiday Inn & Suites Penang, Prai which offers 332 rooms with full facilities like their 1,000 pax ballroom, coffeehouse, swimming pool, gym and the works.

They were greeted by hotel general manager Nick Ng and his sales team on a tour of the hotel.
The main aim of the working visit was to explore potentials to host events, meetings and conferences under the purview of PCEB.
Later in the evening, the PCEB team also stopped over at The Millen in the heart of Georgetown on a working visit too. The new hotel is the first Autograph Collection Hotel In Penang.
The hotel’s general manager Ms Catherine Townsend and her sales team graciously guided the visitors to experience their facilities.

The 5-star hotel offers various premium facilities like its “Good Society” bar in its lobby lounge for guests to unwind and relax. Then, the “Lili” restaurant on the mezzanine floor offers a list of local and international cuisine. The Blacklinen on the 9th floor (a specialty charcoal grill restaurant) celebrating the art of grilling, features premium aged meats and seafood perfectly paired with a curated wine selection.
Other facilities include its luxurious rooms, infinite pool, Nut&Meg Wellness Spa, meeting rooms, ballroom among others.
