Penang CM Chow flanked by Jagdeep and others

With only days left until the state elections, candidate for N29 Datok Keramat, Jagdeep Singh Deo officially launched his operations centre.
Jagdeep is the Penang caretaker government’s committee chairman for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning.
Present to launch the operations centre was Penang State Government’s caretaker Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow along with supporters, family, voters and friends.
Jagdeep’s mother, wife, Member of Parliament for Jelutong YB RSN Rayer, MP for Seri Delima Syerleena Abdul Rashid were present.
The launch ceremony also saw vibrant dance performances among laud clangs of the cymbals and drums.
The “lion” also toured the operations centre to bless the premises.
Loud cheers of “kita boleh ” were heard by supporters and family members.
Chow is lending support to all of the DAP candidates by making his walkabout to meet and greet voters.
Meanwhile, Jagdeep hailed the state government’s affordable homes programme as one of the highlights of his tenure.
The target of 220,000 affordable homes has reached 70 per cent or 153,000 units of homes thanks to the public/ private initiative.
