Penang executive councillor Jagdeep Singh Deo has been hailed as one of the best local government exco members in the country by federal minister Nga Kor Ming.
Nga said his undying efforts in bettering the local councils in Penang, and also housing in the state is an example for others to follow.
“Jagdeep’s undying efforts and good spirits is what we need in a local government exco member. He is easily one of the best and finest exco members in the country, and an example for others to follow,” he said.
Nga said this after opening the Sentuhan Kasih KPKT, where he announced a RM211,405,000 (RM211.4 million) in allocations for Penang.
This includes a RM200 million Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) flats—where 1,000 units are to be built in five areas in Penang Island and Seberang Perai.
