You have met their hotel manager on Penang Hyperlocal recently, now, you also get a chance to be acquainted with the department heads at the soon to be opened Jazz Hotel Penang.
They are made up by a dynamic of department heads rearing to go.
The team is led by their hotel manager, Jordon Lim and assisted by several department heads who play an important role in the smooth running of the hotel.
Among them are their Director of Human Resources, Ms Angeline Cheng Jin Fan, the Director of Sales and Marketing, Ms Chan Phei Ling, followed by Finance Manager, Chin Kam Huei, Front Office Manager, C.Rosshini, Housekeeping Manager, Shahril Seman and Executive Sous Chef and S. Nadarajan.
Other HODs are their Food and Beverage Manager, Zul Hazery Zul Aziz, Chief Engineer, Muhammad Firdaus Zulkiflee and Security and Safety Manager, Mohd Razlan @ Razlan Za’ba Mohd Redza to complete the line-up.
Meanwhile, Angeline’s career in the hospitality industry began as a Human Resource Assistant at Sunway Hotel Georgetown and in a span of 20 years, she has assumed her current role as Director of Human Resources at Jazz Hotel Penang.
Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience at other notable hotels such as Flamingo Hotel by the Beach, Golden Sands Resort and the Courtyard by Marriott Penang.
Her extensive knowledge and expertise in human resources within the industry are undoubtedly valuable assets to any hotel fortunate enough to have her on their team.
Next, Chef Nadarajan or Raj to friends, actually started his career in the Rooms Division at Hotel Equatorial Penang before exploring the culinary world at other hotels such as Raffles Singapore, AC Hotel by Marriott Penang and G Hotel.
He is now the main chef at the Jazz Hotel Penang, where he can showcase his culinary expertise and contribute to the hotel’s culinary offerings. His diverse experiences in the industry have undoubtedly contributed to his success as a chef.
Finally, the Director of Sales & Marketing, Chan Phei Ling’s journey in the hospitality industry began as an accounts officer at Hotel Equatorial Penang and later ventured into the Sales & Marketing division at Eastern & Oriental Hotel.
She continued to gain valuable experience at other renowned hotels such as AC Penang by Marriott, OZO Georgetown Penang including the pre-opening of Victory Annexe of Eastern & Oriental Hotel and Olive Tree Hotel.
Today, she is proud to be serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Jazz Hotel Penang.
