Well, the girls will surely “go gaga” over this Frenchman,  Ronan de La Morlais. And why not, he is tall, handsome and suave.

It even gets better too, as Ronan is the APAC Export Director of Champagne Taittinger and gets to travel around the globe to promote his champagne.

He was recently at The St. Regis Langkawi to play host at the “Dégustation Dinner with Champagne Taittinger and Château Lascombes”.

The Champagne Taittinger is one of the exclusive and top brands in the world.

So it was not surprisingly that the overwhelming turnout of guests and even several models elevated the gathering to the next level.

Also present was the 5-star resort’s new general manager, Derek Gomez and his team.

As for Ronan, he is passionate about wines and spirits, He studied in Bordeaux and started his career in China.

Since then, he has worked for various major Champagne Houses, in Europe, Asia and Africa for the past 10 years.

“I was born in Paris, but I am from Brittany from my father’s side and Burgundy (winemakers) from my mother’s side.

“I like to travel all around Asia to meet all the Taittinger lovers. But when I am back home in Hong Kong, I like to enjoy the seaside, read a good book and do some hiking in the hills”, he shared with Penang Hyperlocal.

He met the Taittinger family in 2021, and joined them to share their story and develop the brand in the Asia Pacific region.

Founded in 1734, the Taittinger Champagne house is based in Reims, France.

The house is known for its unique blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, as well as for its “brut reserve” style of champagne.

They offer a wide selection of brut, rose or blanc de blancs champagne.

Taittinger is one of the largest and most prestigious champagne producers in the world and is renowned for its high quality and unique taste.
