Another recycling project undertaken by the Urban Services Department of the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) draws much praise.
This time around, the project at Taman Jajar Sungai Ara was undertaken by the same team headed by Pembantu Kesihatan Awam, Ahmad Nizuar Nordin and his team.
Council staff utilized materials like old tyres, old carpets, cardboard, plastic bottles, PVC pipes, discarded clothes, ropes, tins and other items.
Among the features include the Ox, God of Prosperity, oranges and more festive items.
There are also other structures like the Minions made out of old tyres and more.
Syabas to MBPP on their continuous efforts to put discarded materials to good use.
