This year’s MATTA Fair Penang is set to return bigger and better, taking place from April 25 to 26, 2026 at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre (PWCC).

Organising Chairman and Penang MATTA Chapter Chairman, Ms Carolyn Leong, urged holidaymakers and visitors to take note of the change in venue, as the fair moves away from its previous home at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Bayan Lepas.

The new venue marks a strategic upgrade aimed at elevating the overall experience for both exhibitors and visitors. With the momentum of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaigns building nationwide, MATTA Fair Penang is expected to draw strong crowds from across the northern region.

“The move allows us to accommodate a larger number of booths and welcome more international trade delegations, which are key to enhancing the diversity and appeal of the fair,” said Leong.

Recognised as the second-largest MATTA Fair after the flagship national edition in Kuala Lumpur, the Penang instalment continues to grow in scale and significance each year. This upcoming edition promises a more vibrant showcase, featuring a wider range of travel offerings, destinations, and exclusive promotions.

Visitors can look forward to an exciting lineup of unbeatable travel deals for both domestic and international destinations, making it the perfect opportunity to plan their next getaway. Adding to the buzz, the fair will also feature attractive lucky draws and special promotions, offering even more value and excitement throughout the two-day event.

Whether you are dreaming of a quick local escape or an overseas adventure, MATTA Fair Penang 2026 is shaping up to be a must-visit travel event on the calendar.
