MAHTEC and Aariana Hospitality International marked a major milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur recently. 

Representing MAHTEC was Datin Christina Toh who is also the president of the Malaysian Association of Hotels while Reginald T Pereira, the Chief Executive Officer of Aariana represented the latter. Also present was MAH chief executive officer Isaac Raj.

The formalization of this strategic partnership is to ensure the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) certifications, a globally recognized credential for hospitality professionals, remain accessible to Malaysians.​

Together, MAHTEC and Aariana will collaborate to:

• Deliver AHLEI-certified programs for hospitality professionals

• Co-create educational materials and host industry events

• Provide new opportunities for career advancement and professional growth​

Meanwhile, the upcoming Programs Under This Partnership are:-

• Certified Hospitality Manager (CHM): 4–6 March 2025, Kota Kinabalu

• Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA): 17–20 March 2025, Kota Kinabalu​

These programs are key opportunities for hospitality professionals to gain globally recognized certifications and advance their careers.
