Members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah/Perlis Chapter convened for their year-end chapter meeting and appreciation dinner yesterday at the picturesque Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi.

General managers and department leaders from member hotels and resorts across the two states were in attendance, strengthening representation from the hospitality community. They were warmly received by Chapter chairman Eugene Dass and the organising committee.

In his welcome address, Dass expressed gratitude for the continuous support, collaboration, and commitment shown by member properties—key drivers in elevating service standards and advancing the hospitality sector.

Members enjoyed an exceptional culinary spread curated by the resort’s F&B team, featuring fresh seafood selections, Western favourites, and Asian specialities. The evening also included a lively lucky draw and a silent auction, offering an array of attractive prizes.Highlight was the presentation of the 65 inch Samsung TV set.

Beyond the formalities, the gathering provided a valuable platform for industry peers to strengthen professional bonds and camaraderie. Entertainment was helmed by veteran DJ Jude Nagalingam, who delighted attendees with nostalgic retro hits.

Lending support all the way from Kuala Lumpur was MAH National CEO Isaac Raj, Hon Secretary General, Dato Megat Shahrul Azman Abas and General Manager Ms Fadillah Ariffin.

As 2025 draws to a close, MAH Kedah/Perlis Chapter members look ahead with optimism to a stronger, more vibrant hospitality landscape in 2026.
