Champions – MAH Kedah/Perlis Chapter

The Kedah/Perlis MAH Chapter emerged the champions of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Football Tournament 2023 held at the Shah Alam National Sports Complex Panasonic.
The thrilling final saw MAH Kedah/Perlis Chapter overcoming their rivals, MAH Negeri Sembilan Chapter by a narrow 1-0 margin.
The sole goal was scored by Mohd Zulhaizan Mohd Zakhi in the second half. Mohd Zulhaizan who works at the Pelangi Resort Langkawi was thrilled with his performance as he was also the top scorer at the tournament..
Yesterday at the semifinals, MAH Kedah/Perlis beat MAH Labuan/Sabah by the same margin of 1-0 to qualify for the finals while MAH Negeri Sembilan defeated MAH Terengganu
.The finals was followed by an exhibition match between MAH Charity veterans and ex-Malaysian players which was represented by Dato Wira Soh Chin Ann, Dato Dollah Salleh, Dato Zainal Abidin Hassan and many others.
A portion of proceeds from the exhibition game will go to support Malaysia’s Ex-International fund.
Guest-of-honour at the event was MAH president Ms Christina Toh along with vice president Dato Khoo Boo Lim and MAH chief executive officer, Isaac Raj.
Others lending support were MAH Kedah/Perlis Chapter chairman Eugene Dass, MAH Labuan/Sabah chairman Hafizan Wong, MAH Negeri Sembilan chairman, Haziz Hassan MAH Terengganu chairman Suibah Harun among others.
