The main purpose of their visit was to hand over a contribution of RM5,000 under their “MAH Cares program” towards the flood relief fund for victims of the floods in the state.

After the formalities, they also held a  fruitful discussion on the preparation for the up-coming Visit Kedah 2025 and the role of MAH Kedah/Perlis on the promotion.

Meanwhile, Salleh expressed his gratitude towards the MAH Kedah/Perlis Chapter and the support received and looks forward to close and continuous working relations.

He also further added that he is open to new ideas and welcomed suggestions on how to move tourism forward in the state.

MAH Kedah/Perlis members also suggested having direct flights from Singapore, Medan and other destinations to Alor Setar and a better way to collect the “Heritage Taxes” via entry points instead of through hotels from Langkawi.
