Some 75 volunteers from LUSH Malaysia, Management & Science University (MSU) and staff from both Rasa Sayang and Golden Sands Resorts took part in a commendable beach clean up project recently.
The team started in the morning and ended the collection of the debris by noon.
Lending support was influencers Koe Yeet, Esther Zhen, Jayce Tan, Fiza Saad and Phyllis.
Among the discarded items were plastic bottles, face masks, gloves, cigarette butts, tin cans, plastic bags and other discarded items.
A total of 47 kgs was collected by the group.
At least these waste materials will not end up in the ocean to endanger marine life.
Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa and Golden Sands Resort plan to organize more beach clean up projects to ensure a clean and healthy beachfront for guests to enjoy and also care for the environment.
