Ascott Gurney Penang kicked off the 2025 festive season with a warm and joy-filled Christmas Lighting Ceremony, joined by media friends, corporate partners, and special guests from Penang Cheshire Home.
Hotel General Manager Chan Kuok-Pin, together with his management team, welcomed guests with festive cheer as the hotel once again celebrated its commitment to community and togetherness.
The evening’s most heartwarming moment was the unveiling of the hotel’s meaningful festive centerpiece — the Tree of Hopes. Created in support of children from the Penang Salvation Army, the tree’s branches are adorned with handwritten notes capturing each child’s Christmas wish and essential needs for the coming school year.

The night wrapped up with a cheerful countdown as the Tree of Hopes lit up in a beautiful glow — a shining symbol of unity, compassion, and Christmas magic at Ascott Gurney Penang.
