The 5-star Lexis Suites Penang carried out a Christmas corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme at the Seri Cahaya Home here recently.

They were led by their general manager, Ben Ho along with the various heads of departments and staff members.

They also brought along food rations made up of Milo, biscuits, bee hoon, rice, milk, maggie mee, cooking oil, soap, detergents, flour and other necessities.

The home houses 26 children, nine old folks along with their caretakers.

The 30-member strong hotel team also brought packed vegetarian  lunch packs for the home.

Among the highlights in the afternoon were games, sing along sessions and dancing sessions for the kids.

“The huge smiles on the faces of the kids made it a memorable and humbling experience.

“This is our way of giving back to the underprivileged and the needy community, ” said Ho.
