The Moxy International Group hopes to become one of the leading hotel chains in the Northern Region to manage and operate trendy medium scale hotels.
Based in Georgetown, Penang, Moxy International is a new hospitality group focussing on the operations of mid-range hotels.
Presently, they manage properties in Chulia Street and soon, in the pipeline is another hotel located along Abu Siti Lane in the heart of the city.
Their vision is to offer clean, comfortable stays with affordable rates for travellers and holiday makers.
Currently, their inventory of hotels include the Chulia Mansion House and the Grand Swiss Hotel both along the busy Chulia Street.
In line with their expansion plans, they hope to secure and manage another hotel along Abu Siti Lane by next month.
The location is in close proximity to the Macalister Road which is an active venue for Penang street food and durians when in season.
In the meantime, both of the group’s hotels located along Chulia Street are within walking distance to the nightlife and eateries in the area.
Among the popular spots are Pokok, Gravybaby, Brew, Loft, Mike’s Place, Holy Guacomole (Love Lane) among others.
There is also a list of street food offering the haven of Penang favourites and other dishes.
