Penang caretaker government’s committee chairman for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning, Jagdeep Singh Deo reiterated that DAP has kept its promises since governing the state since 2008.
“In the past three terms of the state government, we have delivered as promised.
“The achievement is significant as our agenda for delivering affordable homes has reached almost 70 per cent or 153,000 units of various categories,” said Jagdeep in a recent session at the Chinese Town Hall,” said Jagdeep recently.
He also added that the DAP-led government is not like the one before as they have delivered as promised.
He also added that the state has delivered the highest affordable housing available in the country.
“This feat has not been achieved by any other state government,” he added.
In the meantime, in view of the up-coming state elections, Jagdeep has embarked on a series of walkabouts to meet and greet the people.
