The Irish Food Board or “Bord Bia” held an introductory and meet-up session with some local food and beverage stakeholders and suppliers to showcase their range of products and share updates.
The session was held at the Courtyard By Marriott Hotel in Georgetown, Penang.
It was the very first time that the Irish Food Board was holding such a gathering in the island.
Some 40 industry players were in attendance.
Among the products on show were fresh meat, butter, milk, cheese, ice cream and canned products.
Among the brands present was Lakeland Dairy which was introducing its Millac Cream.
Guests were also treated to a cooking demonstration and tasting session utilizing the various products.
