The Shangri-La Rasa Sayang and Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang celebrated International Women’s Day with a hive of activity yesterday.
Lending support was cluster general manager Jegan Selvarajan and his management team.
The celebration was not only limited to their guests but also their in-house staff members too.
The resort was buzzing with excitement as team members from both RSR and GSH joined forces to honour International Women’s Day.
Under the inspiring theme ‘Accelerate Action,’ they paid vibrant tribute to the incredible women in our lives and reaffirmed our commitment to equality.
The day was highlighted by a stunning art exhibition featuring local women artists, who were there to celebrate with us and share their amazing work.
“We are happy to share that 10% of the proceeds from the art sales went to Penang Shan Children’s Home, supporting the children directly. Additionally, we had a heartwarming craft session with the kids, making the day even more special,” said Jegan.
It was also a fantastic chance for colleagues from both resorts to connect and celebrate together.
