Sattrian Chopper’z team set for ride
A group of big bikers made a convoy tour from Nibong Tebal to Johor and back in conjunction with the birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah from June 1 to June 5, 2023.
The group calling themselves “Sattrian Chopper’z”, they were established some 10 years ago and carry out regular cross country rides.
The four member crew was headed by club president R. Selvarajan and joined by his friends S. Parathi Raju, M. Divya Varman and L. Arichoonann.
The riders passed through a total of 87 districts from Perlis to Johor and only stopped for meals and to sleep along the way.
“Our mission was to show support and wish our sincere birthday wishes to the Yang Di-Pertuan Agung and his leadership.
“It is also to show our patriotism and loyalty to the Agong while also to encourage loyalty and among the citizens of our country, Malaysia,” said Selvarajan.
Upon their return, they were received by Datuk Seri K. Pulavendran, deputy chairman Crime Prevention Foundation (Penang Chapter) and veteran journalist, Dato S. Arulldas and their team.
Meanwhile, Datuk Seri K. Pulavendran said that such commendable initiatives will inspire the youth to be good citizens and encourage them to take part in more civic conscious activities.
