Hunza Group’s first affordable housing project – The TreeO in Sungai Ara celebrates its completion and key handing over ceremony.
The project offers some 1,240 units spread across three blocks.
Present to officiate the gathering was State Exco for Housing and Environment Dato Seri S. Sundarajoo.
Also present was Dato Seri Khor Teng Tong, founder and executive advisor of Unza Group Dato Khor Siang Gin, Group managing director of Hunza Group and, Dato Lily Tan, Group chief executive officer of sales and marketing among others.
In his address Rajoo conveyes his congratulations to Dato Seri Khor Teng Tong, Dato Khor Siang Gin and their team on their efforts to successfully complete their first ever affordable housing project.
“It is truly a captivating development within this housing segment and I share the delight of the unit owners in calling this place a home.
“The Penang State Government through its “Housing For All” agenda will always be cognizant towards housing related issues especially on the supply of affordable housing in Penang”, said Rajoo.
Meanwhile, SG Khor added that the journey that they went on to reach here was particularly a challenging one. When we started work, there were the terrain conditions that they had to address in order to make it safe for the construction of high-rise apartments.
“I am very proud of what we have here today, and I would like to thank our purchasers for being patient with us over the years.I dare to say that TreeO is one of the most exceptional affordable homes in Penang Island”, he added.
He also shared that their on-going projects include the Phase 2b of the PICC, SENZE as well as those in Bertam and Sungai Petani.
The units measure 900 sq ft with three bedrooms and two bathrooms along with resort-style facilities. Among them are the infinity pool, indoor and outdoor gym, central garden, grand pavilion among others.
