With interstate travel possible again, Hard Rock Hotel Penang celebrates the holiday season with exciting festive promotions and live entertainment to usher in the New Year.
The popular five-star family beach resort in Batu Ferringhi Beach is rolling out a series of festive buffet dinners on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at Starz Diner.
The restaurant is also set to impress guests with a special festive edition of Saturday Night Live! served buffet dinner on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
At Hard Rock Cafe Penang, the festive occasion is out of the ordinary. The team has prepared extravagant festive set dinners to wow the guests on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. To escalate the holiday excitement, the cafe is welcoming the New Year with an electrifying spin of dance and electronic music by one of Malaysia’s top female DJs, LadyAnna to rock the stage at Hard Rock Cafe Penang and a lucky draw to be won.

The Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner at Starz Diner serves a plethora of flavors from around the world. With a buffet line that spans across the entire restaurant and three live cooking stations, diners can enjoy entertaining wok performances from the chefs. Braised Beef Cheeks with Mashed Sweet Potato and Grilled Asparagus; Stuffed Lamb Cutlet with Gorgonzola Cheese; Salmon Filet en Croûte and the must-have traditional Roasted Turkey served with Bread Stuffing, Fried Brussel Sprouts and Cranberry Sauce. The extensive buffet also features a

The world-renowned Rock n’ Roll themed American restaurant is serving diners a well-crafted 4-course set dinner on Christmas Eve. Diners can enjoy an appetizer and a soup before continuing with a choice of delicious main course (Smoked Beef Filet served with Pumpkin Ragout, Braised Mushrooms and Shallot Jus and Red Pepper Coconut Sauce; Roast Turkey Breast served with Roasted Vegetables, Buttered Baby Potatoes and Cranberry Sauce; or Baked Sesame Cod Fish served with Soba Noodles, Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes with Teriyaki Sauce and Basil Oil) followed by a decadent dessert to end the dinner on a sweet note. On this New Year’s Eve, the hotel is inviting diners to embark on a culinary journey around the world with Executive Chef Rodrigo Benedicto. Chef Rodrigo is set to wow diners with a feast of fine dishes made from luxe ingredients that showcase a combination of Asian influences and contemporary European cooking.
Some of the featured dishes on the buffet spread are Lobster with Avocado and Orange Dressing; Beef Tenderloin and Button Mushroom Ragoût; Boneless Lamb Leg with Molasses Glaze; Salmon Head Fish Curry and Chicken and Lamb Shawarma. Diners can also dig into a wide range of fresh seafood on ice,
