Genting Dream will use the historic port of Melaka as the gateway to Kuala Lumpur for its 2 Night Cruises departing from Singapore on Sundays, starting November 10, 2024.
Resort World Cruises, known as ‘the cruise line that knows Asia best’, passengers will enjoy a new and enhanced experience with dual visits to the city of Melaka and the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
With port stay time extended from 10 to 12 hours, passengers on the Kuala Lumpur excursions will have ample time to explore Melaka before boarding the ship.
Genting Dream will anchor close to Melaka city, offering stunning views of the surrounding beaches and landscape. Disembarking passengers can enjoy a unique short tender boat ride up the Melaka River to the modern Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security Complex (ICQS Complex).
From there, it is a pleasant short 15 minute walk to the heart of Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the red colonial buildings of the Dutch Square and the famous Jonker Street, known for its excellent shopping, dining and entertainment.
Passengers can also choose to take the Melaka river boats next to the ICQS Complex to see the historic port city with buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and English era, mural artworks, parks and colourful shops on both sides of the riverbank.
Passengers have the option to embark on Mondays every fortnight from Melaka via the ICQS Complex. They can combine a Melaka vacation with the One-Way 3 Night Melaka-Singapore-Penang-Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang) Cruise.

Now, passengers can choose the comfort of cruising to Malacca from Singapore, instead of taking a road trip.
