Resort World Cruises’s Genting Dream mega cruise ship arrived at the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (SPCT) this morning on its stopover from Singapore.
It marks the restart of the cruise industry as another cruise liner from the Royal Caribbean International (RCL) Spectrum of the Seas also docked at the SPCT last Saturday.
Morning joggers along the Esplanade had a great view of the Genting Dream cruise ship although it was chilly and cloudy weather.
As early as 1 July 2022, Resorts World Cruises was the first cruise line to sail from Singapore to Indonesia, offering the 2-Night Bintan and Batam Islands Weekend Getaway Cruise.
Subsequently, the Genting Dream has sailed from Singapore to Malaysia with the 2-Night and 3-Night cruises to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca (via Port Dickson), and Penang.
Beginning October 2022, Resorts World Cruises will add a series of new itineraries with more destinations to Malaysia (Langkawi), Indonesia (North Bali, Surabaya) and Thailand (Phuket, Krabi).
The ship offers specially curated international performances and blockbuster movies at the Zodiac theatre with an impressive 1,000 seat capacity, themed recreational activities and enrichment workshops; a thrilling water park at sea with a pool and 6 waterslides, rope courses and ziplines, a rock-climbing wall; bowling alleys; enjoy the Zouk Beach Club with favourites movies under the stars or catch the party nights; amazing duty-free shopping; or simply relax at the comfort of a wide sundeck, spas and many more attractions – perfect for vacationers or for any corporate retreats and team-building activities at sea.
Guests can also enjoy a wide spread of authentic Asian and international offerings across the 35 food and beverage facilities, comprising inclusive and specialty restaurants, a Bar City and more.
Also, elevated and unique experiences featuring a fusion of amazing dining menus with new Korean, Japanese and Spanish cuisines and spectacular entertainment await guests at different venues on the ship.
