The G Hotel Penang and the INTI International College Penang signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate and churn out more hospitality management professionals in the country.

The signing ceremony was held at G Hotel in the presence of its general manager Michael Hanratty and his team.

INTI International College was represented by its chief executive, Ms Hemalatha Murugiah and her team members.

The event marks a significant milestone in their commitment to contribute to the broader community of hospitality management professionals in Malaysia.

The collaboration with INTI International College Penang includes offering internship opportunities for INTI College students, providing them with hands-on experience in a premier hospitality environment.

Both institutions will engage in joint research projects, focusing on
innovative practices and sustainable solutions within the hospitality sector.

Additionally, G Hotel’s industry experts will conduct guest lectures and workshops at INTI College, sharing insights and best practices with students. The partnership will also facilitate career development programs and job placement opportunities for graduates, ensuring a smooth transition from education to employment.

The signatories from INTI International College were Ms Hemalatha and Head of School of School of Hospitality and Culinary, Jeff Lim Chang Wei. 

Witnessing the signing were INTI International College, the Senior Manager of Career Service Department, Yeap Chang Lee and Senior Lecturers from School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

Also present were G Hotel’s Director of Human Resources, Thomas Ch’ng, Tan Khee Chiang, Financial Controller and Bernard Krishnan, Director of Food and Beverage Department.
