Well travelled hotelier, Bernard Krishnan is the new Director of Operations at the PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort with effect Aug 4th, 2025.
A seasoned hotelier with a wealth of international experience, Bernard has built an impressive career across renowned destinations including Penang, Vietnam, Macau, the Philippines and the idyllic island of Mauritius.
His most recent role was as Director of Food & Beverage at G Hotel in Penang, where he was instrumental in driving service excellence and operational innovation.
In his new capacity at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, Bernard will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the property, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high standards across departments.
Throughout his career, Bernard has developed a reputation for exceptional leadership, creative flair, and a results-driven mindset. His passion for hospitality was sparked by the classic film Cocktail, which inspired his pursuit of excellence in the industry.
Since then, he has consistently delivered memorable guest experiences and led high-performing teams in competitive markets.
A firm believer in continuous improvement, Bernard is known for enhancing both productivity and profitability through strategic planning and operational efficiency.
Outside of work, Bernard is a devoted family man who enjoys staying active. He is an avid swimmer and pool player, and also a passionate fan of football and darts too.
Bernard will report directly to General Manager Au Yong Hin Yoong.
