Check out the newly launched “Weekend Brunch” at the Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang being held every Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 4pm.
Priced at RM65 per person and RM32.50 per child, they offer a plethora of local and international dishes for the whole family and friends to enjoy.
Putting out the creative menu is Chef Mohd Ali Hamid, 45, who comes with years of experience working in major hotels and restaurants.
He has also worked in branded chain hotels like the Best Western group, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, Novotel, Vivatel KL and Sofitel Johor to name a few.
Guests will be spoilt for choice at the brunch session as they are decked with unlimited choices to enjoy in a relaxed setting.
Starting off with the salads corner, they offer Pineapple Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Thai Beef Salad, Seafood Salad, Tomato Salad, Cucumber Salad. Mixed Green Lettuce Salad, Onion Salad and Bean Salad
This is accompanied with four types of dressing ,four condiments ,four pickles, the Cheese Platter, Root Vegetable Sticks and the Salmon Roll Dip Horseradish sauce. At the soup section you can also enjoy the Cream of Chicken Soup.
On offer are also Muesli Rey Bread, French Loaf, Rey Bread Roll & White & Wheat Bread, soft Roll. Hard Roll with Jem and Butter.
As for the main course, one can enjoy dishes like the Deep Fried Chicken Chop Lemon Sauce Chinese Style, Beef Curry with Potato, Grill Fish salmon with Butter Lemon Sauce, Deep Fried Chicken Wing with Chizzy Sauce, Mixed Vegetable Oyster Sauce and Soft Egg Bean curd.
On top of this there are the Steam Mini Pau, Chinese Fried Rice with Shrimp and Fried Mee Mamak.
Over at the action stalls, they bring Deep Fried Cucur Udang with Thai Chili sauce, Ice kacang with condiments or the Waffle Belgian with Honey and Maple syrup.
A variety of fresh fruits like watermelon, honey dew, dragon Fruit, mango, pineapple and papaya are also available. More desserts like a variety of French pastry, Malay kuih, Longan in syrup, cakes and hot drinks like coffee and tea including teh tarik are also available.
Kids can also take part in fun projects like muffin making and other activities during the brunch.
Dining guests can also use the hotel’s swimming pool and internet facilities while there.
