A wide spread of 162 dishes await guests at the DoubletTree Resort by Hilton Penang’s Ramadan Buffet this year.

Themed “Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton”, there is something for everyone as Executive Chef Addy Dzulfadzly Abdullah and his food and beverage team have put out a splendid choice to suit any taste bud.

The promotion till May 2, 2022 held at their Makan Kitchen offers signature Malaysian favourites coupled with Central Asian dishes.

When in Penang one does not need to go anywhere to look for their nasi kandar as they have put up their own nasi kandar stall.

On the spread are fried chicken, mutton, fish curry, telur dadar, vegetables, papadam and a new inclusion, fried crabs and more.

Nasi kandar section

“We thought that with parking issues and inconvenience to going to the city centre, we can offer the ever favourite Penang nasi kandar right at our doorstep,” said Chef Addy.

Over at the Oriental section one can get braised mushroom, braised tofu, braised egg, chicken rice along with Assam laksa and curry mee.

This year, they have also added the Spices of India section to bring -Nan, tandoori, murtabak , roti John, roti canai among others.

There are also the time tested favourites like ayam percik, roast lamb which has been prepared over 12 hours to infuse the spices, nasi minyak, kurma daging, dalca kambing, sambal terung, sup Berempah, pejeri nenas, sup oxtail. sup Ox tongue, chicken, beef, lamb, paru lembu as toppings. As for the desserts check out their Arabic umali six types of bubur like bubur, bubur pulut, bubur cha cha, pengat pisang, bubur jagung, bubur kacang hijau and the traditional sira ubi kayu.
