In celebration of Christmas this year, the StarCity Hotel in Alor Star is offering its special takeaway or dine-in platter.
The spread consists of the season favorites like Chicken chop, green salad, nachos, coney dog, bun and a special mocktail to wash down your food.
The new dish is available from Dec 22 to Dec 26 (Boxing Day) at RM35.00 per person at the Paddy Cafe.
The Christmas special is the brainchild of chef de partie, Mohd Izwan Ismail, 33, who has been with the StarCity Hotel for the past four years.
“I thought it would be a good time to offer this Xmas dish so that people can enjoy the food with family and friends,” said Mohd Izwan.
He has vast experience in preparing Western cuisine as he had worked in several hotels, golf clubs and resorts in Alor Setar and Jitra in his 15 year tenure in the hospitality industry.
“Among my signature dishes also include the Hawaii grilled lamb, nasi goreng special and also Daging Rendang Tok, Kedah style,” he added.
