Resorts World Cruises, the ‘World-Class Cruise Line that Knows Asia Best’, is pleased to have international celebrity, Ms. Fan Bingbing, make a special appearance on the Genting Dream to launch the cruise ship’s maiden 2 Night Cruise to Malacca from Singapore yesterday (Nov 10, 2024). 

In conjunction with this, Ms. Fan Bingbing, who is also the Visit Melaka 2024 Ambassador, was onboard the Genting Dream to hold a special media press conference, as well as a meet and greet session with the fans and passengers cruising to Melaka for the inaugural sailing. 

At the launch ceremony, Resorts World Cruises President, Michael Goh and the crew of the Genting Dream welcomed Ms. Fan Bingbing on the ship, together with Melaka Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh and representatives from the Singapore Tourism Board for this special celebratory event. Ms. Fan Bingbing officiated the launch of the 2 Night Malacca Cruise, sharing some of her fond memories of visiting Melaka and its various attractions and amazing local delicacies.

Her presence today creates another exciting and memorable experience for our cruising passengers today, as they not only get to meet an international superstar, but also personally hear her experiences visiting Melaka as an ambassador of the city”, said Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises.
