The dinner is a heartfelt celebration of faith, family, tradition and togetherness.
As you break fast in a nostalgic setting filled with flavours of home, you will also stand a chance to be rewarded through their Weekly Lucky Draw, where winners will enjoy a 2-day, 1-night stay in a Deluxe Room, inclusive of breakfast and complimentary De’8000 Mini Golf tickets for two.
From Feb 26 to March19, 2026 (except Sundays), every confirmed buffet booking automatically qualifies for the Weekly Lucky Draw, with one entry per booking. For group reservations, the draw entry will be registered under the main booker’s name. Winners will be announced weekly on Olive Tree Hotel’s official social media platforms, making every iftar an opportunity to celebrate a little more.
Set against a charming 1960s and 1970s nostalgic theme, The Olive on Level 6 will be transformed into a retro-inspired dining space reminiscent of the golden era. Classic tunes from the 60s and 70s fill the air, creating a warm, sentimental ambience where senior guests can relive fond memories, while younger diners experience the timeless charm of a bygone era. It’s the perfect setting for families, friends, and colleagues to come together during the holy month.
Begin your culinary journey at the appetiser corner, featuring a vibrant selection of fresh salads and traditional kerabu. Beloved Ramadan staples such as Ketupat, Lemang with Serunding Ayam & Daging, and other authentic favourites set the tone for a comforting and satisfying iftar.
The soup station offers rotating, hearty selections including Sup Ekor Berempah and Sup Kambing, perfect for warming the palate. At the main buffet counter, guests can enjoy a wide variety of flavourful hot dishes presented in two rotating weekly menus, ensuring a different dining experience throughout Ramadan. Highlights include Baked Fish Masala, Ketam Bunga Masakan Ala Siam, Udang Masak Lemak Nenas, and Daging Masakan Mongolian.
Sambal enthusiasts will be delighted with an array of homemade condiments such as Sambal Belacan, Sambal Tempoyak, Sambal Nyior, and Sambal Pelam, complemented by traditional favourites Budu and Cincalok. At the live cooking stations, the spotlight shines on the must-try Kambing Bakar Nasi Mandy, alongside freshly grilled favourites including Ikan Bakar, Udang Bakar, Otak-Otak Bakar, and Satay. Guests can also enjoy Assorted Lok Lok with flavourful sauces such as Mala Peanut, Thai Chilli, and Batong sauce, as well as local delights like Fried Koay Teow and Fried Koay Kak.
For lovers of rich, slow-cooked flavours, Pak Man Gulai Kawah presents three rotating curry dishes daily. The first rotation features Daging Utara, Kari Ikan Bendi, and Ayam Rempah, while the second highlights Kambing Utara, Itik Kelantan and Ikan Pari Assam Pedas, offering depth and variety throughout the Ramadan period.
Younger diners are not forgotten, with a kid-friendly selection including Spaghetti Carbonara, Hawaiian Pizza, Pandan Chicken, Potato Wedges, Popcorn, and Waffles.
Guests can end your iftar on a sweet note at the dessert counter, featuring a tempting spread of local kuih, cakes, crispy goreng-goreng, soft-serve ice cream, and refreshing favourites such as Ice Kacang and Cendol. Do check out their Teh Tarik as it is “memang kurang manis” unlike other places.

The Alunan Nostalgia Ramadan Buffet Dinner is served at The Olive, Level 6 and priced at RM140 nett (adult), RM100 nett (Senior citizen above 60), RM70 nett (Children 6-12 years-old. Children below 5 years old dine free with a minimum of two paying adults). All prices are inclusive of service tax.
