The highlight of the celebrations is an exclusive Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner taking place on 16 February 2026, the eve of Lunar New Year. Deeply rooted in cultural tradition, the reunion dinner symbolises family unity as loved ones near and far gather to share a heartfelt meal. In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, dining out offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect, relax and celebrate cherished moments together.
For this special evening, Chef Sky Hee and his culinary team have meticulously crafted an 8-Course Reunion Menu, featuring premium ingredients, refined techniques and dishes thoughtfully named with auspicious meanings and blessings.
Menu highlights include: Olive Tree Abalone Yee Sang, Fish Maw Chowder with Dried Scallop & Shredded Duck, Aromatic Ginger Free Range Chicken with Onion Oil, Pan-Fried Sea Garoupa in Superior Chef Master Sauce, Duo Flavour Braised Abalone with Garden Greens, Sautéed Prawn with Superior Soy Sauce & Mint Leaves, Seafood Bisque in Oriental Crispy Rice, Assorted & Aromatic Desserts Corner and not forgetting a range of desserts too.
Each course symbolises prosperity, harmony, abundance and happiness, conveying heartfelt wishes for a flourishing year ahead. As a festive indulgence, the dessert course features an unlimited dessert spread, offering delights such as Osmanthus Jelly, Matcha Floating Flower, Mille Feuille, Raspberry Mousse, Peanut Butter Mousse, festive cakes, sesame balls, assorted fruit tarts, fresh fruits and more.
Enhancing the celebratory atmosphere, guests will be treated to a vibrant line-up of cultural performances and interactive activities throughout the evening. Highlights include a dynamic Lion Dance performance by Xuen Kang Sports Cultural Centre, an elegant Chinese Orchestra performance by Joyous Chinese Orchestra, and live Chinese calligraphy demonstrations by Mr Joseph Yeap, where guests receive auspicious couplets as keepsakes.
For those seeking a more intimate celebration, private dining rooms are available upon request, subject to an additional MYR200 surcharge per booking. A minimum of five (5) days’ advance booking is required for the reunion dinner.

Beyond the reunion dinner, Olive Tree Hotel continues the festivities with two specially curated set menus — the Abundance 8-Course Set and Prosperity 8-Course Set — available from 26 January to 3 March 2026 (excluding 16 February 2026). Ideal for family gatherings, friendly reunions or business celebrations, these menus showcase symbolic Yee Sang and classic Chinese delicacies, each dish thoughtfully prepared to convey good fortune, joy and prosperity.

A Lunar New Year essential, Yee Sang symbolises abundance and success. Olive Tree Hotel offers two options: a refreshing Snow Pear Yee Sang (Vegetarian) and a luxurious Abalone Yee Sang.
