Well-wishers and supporters donated a sum of RM111,888 towards the Crime Consciousness & Public Safety Safety Society’s Patron’s Night gathering held at The Wembley – A St Giles Hotel Penang.
Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak graced the black-tie event held with much pomp and pageantry.
On hand to welcome guests was CCPSS chairman Dato Mohamad Anil Shah and organising chairman Seah Kok Heng and their committee.
“We would like to thank our governor and all who have taken time and supported our cause by your attendance tonight,” said Seah.
Meanwhile, Anil Shah also thanked the governor for his continued support and his commitment towards the needy and underprivileged.
“Our vision to help the poor and needy in the state as the root of all criminal activities is poverty. We at CCPSS do not expect anything in return but only to serve the community,” he added.
Among the donors were Dato Richard Goh Eng Shit donating RM30,000, Dato Seri Ong Keow Leng (RM30,000), Major (APM) David TS Chua, BTS Group (RM20,000), Jasper Ooi Bite Me Sdn Bhd (RM10,000), Musen Liew (RM21,888) among others.
As guests enjoyed their dinners, various song and dance entertainment was on show.
This was followed by the presentation of certificates of appreciation and souvenirs.
