Members of the CCPSS held their Patron’s Night at the St Giles Wembley Hotel. 

Guest of honour was Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak. 

He was welcomed by CCPSS chairman Dato Mohamad Anil Shah, deputy chairman Dato Tony Goh and organising chairman Seah Kok Heng.

In all, some 200 guests from the various business communities and organizations attended the gala occasion.

In his brief address Anil Shah thanked the governor for taking time to attend many of the events and programmes in the state. 

“I wish to express my sincere thanks to him. I also wish to thank sponsors, members and supporters without whom we cannot run our projects.

“We will continue to focus to tackle grassroots level youngsters i.e. from school level to guide and advise students and younger generations for a more beneficial and better future for them and the country”, said Anil Shah.

Earlier, Seah said that the night is a celebration of unity in the presence of the governor.

“Our governor has offered his advice and guidance in the matters of our NGO”, he said.

Also present was Datin Annie Chin who is the Consul General of Brazil in Penang 

Guests were entertained by a live band with evergreen numbers. This was followed by a mock cheque presentation ceremony where local businessman and founder of JT Group, James Tan Teng Huat who presented RM10,000 towards Yayasan Amal TYT.

Another donor was Professor Dr Tan Yen Wooi who also donated RM10,000 towards the fund.
