New lifts at Bukit Dumbar Permai

Residents in Bukit Dumbar Permai got a boost towards their quality of life when the Penang state government upgraded two of their lifts at a cost of RMRM330,000 recently.

State Exco for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning YB Jagdeep Singh Deo along with his team were present to deliver the good news.

“We are happy to witness the completion of the upgrading of two (2) units of lifts here at Bukit Dumbar Permai at a cost of RM330,000.00.

“Todate, apart from nearly 140,000 units of various affordable housing ranging from rent-to-own, RM42,000 until RM300,000, we have also completed 33,830 maintenance projects at a cost of RM308.8 million.

“WE are also happy to also note how this housing scheme has been maintained by its residents which is clearly world class.

“As the Penang State Government, we will continue to support those in need so that such standards will always be achieved by all of our housing schemes in Penang,” siad Jagdeep.

In the meantime, Jagdeep hoped that the Federal Government will not neglect its duty to assist such housing schemes in Penang, whereby we are still awaiting their approval for the remaining RM126.288 million for 158 projects.

Syabas and congrats to the residents of Bukit Dumbar Permai for the two new lifts which will surely make their livelihood more pleasant and convenient.
