BomBay Kitchen along Beach Street

BomBay Kitchen is the latest food and beverage outlet to add to the myriad of dining choices in the heart of Georgetown, Penang.

Right from the entrance, the bar,wall decor and seating area, the eatery has a warm and welcoming feel to it.

The outlet is owned by the popular F&B chain, the Gems Group which has been providing authentic Indian fusion cuisine in the city.

The ground floor offers a fine seating area for guests to enjoy their meals. The fine long bar offers a wide variety of cocktails, mocktails, wine and liquor choices.

“All of our gin based cocktails are infused with Bombay Sapphire gin as they are our strategic partners  thus our name, BomBay Kitchen. 

“We have a team of chefs from India to offer a fine choice of meals. Among our favourites are our nans, biryani,” said P. Krishnan, owner of BomBay Kitchen.

The two-storey diner offers a wide range of salads, starters, soup, snacks, main dishes and dessert selections.

Among the favourites are their Smoked Lamb Rack served with Biryani Rice, Sizzling Black Pepper Grilled Chicken Chop, Indian Spiced Grilled Fish & Chips,  Spaghetti Mutton Keema, Spaghetti Chicken Pepper Fry, Mutton Kebab Burger and the Tandoori Chicken Burger to samme a few choices.

Their signature fusion selections include the Masala Chicken with Homemade Tortilla Wrap, Masala Veggie Wrap, Mutton Varuval Pizza, Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza and Vegetarian Pizza. For noodle lovers they offer Bombay’s Maggi Goreng, Butter Chilli Garlic Noodle, Hakka Noodles, Szechuan Noodles, Vegetable Noodles and more.

For music lovers, they also offer a two-piece band every Friday and Saturday for the listening pleasure of diners. 

Over at the first floor, they also offer private dining facilities to cater for small and mid-sized groups. Then there is also a dining area for about 60-70 guests for corporate or family gatherings.
