Dato Mohamed Iqbal S Habeeb Noohu, the managing director of Maritime Waterfront Suites Sdn Bhd and Bertam Resort Penang was recently awarded the Emerging Achiever of the Year at the Malaysia Top Achievers 2023 ceremony recently.
The recognition is another feather in the cap for Mohamed Iqbal for having the foresight and vision in his various projects.
The highlight of these will surely be the Bertam Resort Penang which has come a long way since its opening.
The resort is the first and only Moroccan-themed resort and waterpark in the Northern Region and offers some 300 rooms and luxury villas.
The resort’s ballroom is able to cater up to 2,000 sit down dinners with chandeliers and state-of-the-art LED facilities.
There is also a clubhouse and wellness treatment facilities in the pipeline.
The adjacent water park sprawls over 20 acres and is a 20 kilometres drive from Penang International Airport, four hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur and an easy pleasurable drive from Singapore.
