The Bertam Resort Penang held its very first “Meet & Greet” session where some 80 industry players participated.
Among them were representatives from the nearby manufacturing sector from the Kulim and Prai industrial parks.
On hand to greet them was their managing director himself, Datuk Mohamed Iqbal S. Habeeb Noohu along with resort manager Ms Siti Fatimah and their team of department heads.
Guests were treated to a fine meal consisting of local favourites and Western cuisine.
They were also entertained by a two-piece band and a staff performance. Guests were also taken on a house tour to acquaint themselves with the sprawling property.
The occasion also served to form new bonding and camaraderie among guests.
The newly opened Moroccan-themed resort and water park offers some 300 rooms with ample car park facilities for guests.
They also offer pool villas and spa villas on the property. The resort’s ballroom is able to cater up to 2,000 sit down dinners with chandeliers and state-of-the-art LED facilities.
The adjacent water park sprawls over 20 acres and is a 20 kilometres drive from Penang International Airport, four hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur and an easy pleasurable drive from Singapore.
