The Amari SPICE Penang ushered in the Year of the Rabbit in the lunar calendar style as they hosted an eight-piece Lion Dance troupe at its lobby.
Joining the celebrations were 20 residents and caretakers from the Rumah Intan Old Folks Home.
Lending presence was general manager Noorazzudin Omar and other department heads along with many house guests.
A 25 ft long firecracker was also lit to make the celebrations bring prosperity and wealth.
After all of the ceremonies were done, the guests were treated to a sumptuous lunch at the hotel’s Amaya Food Gallery.
The residents of the old folks home were also presented with ang pow packets by the Noorazzudin.
