After an eight-year hiatus, attributed in part to the pandemic, Aariana Hospitality International is back on the international stage.
They kicked off with the first of a series of workshops for Club Med Asia Pacific (APAC). Another first is the partnership with Asia Pacific University (APU) for a joint certification.
The Strategic Housekeeping Management Excellence Certificate was conducted over three days at Club Med Phuket from 13 – 15 September and attended by 10 Heads of Housekeeping from APAC. It was a very exciting workshop seeing professionals from different regions with different backgrounds with One common goal.
Among the areas covered in the 12 modules of the workshop were Strategic Leadership, Workforce Planning and Productivity, Operational Excellence and Quality Standards, Inventory, Linen and Asset Management and Service Quality & Guest Satisfaction Management to name a few.
President and CEO of Aariana, Reginald T Pereira was also present in Phuket to oversee the workshop. The Chef De Village of Club Med Phuket, Patrizo Bianchi also took time to address the participants and ensured that all arrangements were as per Club Med standards. Also in attendance was Ashley Ushin ESAP Product Manager (Room Division) who initiated this workshop.

“This is indeed a very proud moment for Aariana Hospitality International as we are gaining international recognition and we look forward to more workshops with Club Med APAC in the near future’ and we are indeed honoured that Cub Med selected us for this initiative,’ said Reginald.
The three-day workshop included role plays, activities as well as serious problem-solving techniques and actual everyday situations. All those who participated found the workshop very informative and intend to implement what they learnt over the three days at their respective properties. There was also excellent camaraderie throughout the workshop.
Aariana also offers the professional certifications for the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) in Malaysia.
