Once a month, Planters Lounge at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel comes alive with the irresistible sounds of jazz and the buzz of a leisurely Sunday crowd.
The much-loved Sunday Jazz Brunch brings together an indulgent buffet spread, free-flowing drinks and live music by De Leon Jazz Experience, featuring Claudia performing a lively repertoire of favourite hits and timeless oldies. Little wonder the monthly promotion has received an overwhelming response from guests.
Come hungry as the brunch is an all-you-can-eat affair, with the hotel’s F&B team pulling out all the stops with a generous selection of hearty favourites and contemporary classics. Expect everything from Spanish Tortilla, Smoked Salmon & Poached Egg Bagel, Grain-Fed Minute Steak & Egg and Vegetable Pot Pie to Oven-Baked Almond-Crusted Salmon, Bangers & Mash, Grilled Chicken Breast, Roasted Australian Boneless Lamb Leg, Roasted Australian Beef and Black Angus Prime Beef.
And then there is the seafood spread, a feast in its own right. The buffet counter offers Harima Oysters, Snow Crab Legs, Slipper Lobsters, Green Mussels, Norwegian Salmon, Tuna, Dill-Crusted Salmon Gravlax, Black Mussels, Scallops and Prawns, alongside an array of salads and cold selections including Chicken & Prune Galantine, Baby Octopus Salad, Smoked Duck Breast and Beef Kerabu.
Fresh greens and accompaniments include Romaine and Iceberg Lettuce, Baby Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes, Marinated Olives and Cocktail Onions, perfect for creating your own salad combination. Do look up the dessert counter too.
To complement the feast, guests can sip on beer and a selection of wines as they settle into an afternoon of good food, good music and good company.
The Sunday Jazz Brunch is served from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
