The Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang is inviting guests and local diners to come together over the flavours of Malaysia with its new “Discover Local – Muhibbah Set Meal”, available from October to November 2026 at Rice Garden Restaurant.
Inspired by Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage and spirit of togetherness, the Muhibbah Set Meal brings a selection of familiar local flavours to the table, thoughtfully prepared for sharing. The dining experience celebrates the idea of muhibbah — harmony, friendship and togetherness — through food. Guests can choose from two specially curated sets for two persons, offering a choice of Malaysian-inspired dishes at accessible prices:
Set A – RM98 nett for 2 persons
Set B – RM120 nett for 2 persons
Set A begins with Kerabu Udang Kerisik, followed by Clear Chicken Berempah soup and a main course featuring crispy fried seabass with sambal chilli kicap, ayam masak lemak cili kampung, terung goreng berlada, telur dadar and steamed fragrant rice. The meal concludes with Pengat Pisang Sagu and a choice of chilled juice or soft drink.
Set B offers a different selection, beginning with vegetable spring rolls and Sweet Corn & Crab Meat Soup. The main course features steamed seabass with ginger and coriander, kung pao chicken, butter prawns, stir-fried mixed garden vegetables and egg foo young, served with steamed fragrant rice. Seasonal cut fruits and a choice of chilled juice or soft drink complete the meal.
