Masni brings with her over three decades of experience in the Malaysian hospitality industry, having built a distinguished career spanning hotel operations, sales and marketing, and executive leadership.
Widely recognised for her hands-on approach and operational expertise, she has established a strong reputation for delivering consistent service excellence while driving business performance.
Prior to this appointment, she served as General Manager of Dorsett Grand Labuan, where she oversaw the hotel’s operations and strengthened its position as one of the leading hospitality establishments in Labuan. Her leadership focused on operational efficiency, team development, and maintaining high service standards in a competitive market.
Masni is no stranger to Penang’s hotel scene. Earlier in her career, she held the position of General Manager at the Royal Hotel. In addition to her hotel responsibilities, she oversaw the operations of the adjourning Penang Plaza complex, further strengthening her experience in managing integrated hospitality and commercial assets. She also brings with her a strong foundation in sales and marketing, having held senior commercial roles in established hospitality brands prior to her general management appointments.
Her return to Penang marks a meaningful homecoming and is expected to further strengthen Amari SPICE Penang’s leadership team as the hotel continues to expand its footprint in the island’s vibrant tourism and business events sector. With her deep understanding of the local hospitality landscape and extensive management experience, Masni is well positioned to lead the property into its next phase of growth.
