The new Wembley Café was officially launched today, marking another milestone for St Giles Wembley Penang.
Strategically located on the hotel’s ground floor, the café features a fresh, contemporary look and replaces the former café previously situated on the second floor. The relocation and redesign underscore the hotel’s commitment to enhancing guest experience and accessibility.
General Manager Dato’ Tony Goh, together with his management team, was present to welcome industry friends and partners at the opening.

With the upcoming Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Hari Raya festive season, the opening serves as a timely move.
Designed to accommodate up to 240 guests, the new Wembley Café offers generous indoor and outdoor seating areas, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere.
“The café is designed to offer a contemporary yet welcoming layout, making it ideal for casual dining as well as business meet-ups,” said Goh.

Guests can expect an enticing menu that blends local favourites with international cuisine, catering to a wide range of tastes. In addition to the indoor dining space, the café also features an outdoor terrace, providing a relaxed alfresco dining option.
“The new coffeehouse has been thoughtfully designed not only to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests, but also to serve as a versatile venue for both private and corporate functions,” Goh added.
In-house guests will also enjoy the convenience of having their daily breakfast served at the new café, offering a more elevated and seamless start to the day.

With its refreshed design, expanded capacity and flexible functionality, the new Wembley Café is set to further strengthen St Giles Wembley Penang’s position as a preferred hospitality destination in Penang, seamlessly combining culinary variety with thoughtful design.
Spotted at the launch was Dato Khoo Boo Lim, Dato Gulab Mahatam Rai, Ben Ho, John Kim, Lynne Choong, Steven Suffian, Alex Gooi among others.
