Quite recently, the resort played host to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who was in Langkawi to attend LIMA 2025. While there, Anwar even took time to talk to the front office team at the resort too.
Early in his career, Neoh has even met Bollywood sensation and international star, Shah Rukh Khan too.
Neoh was recently joined at the resort by another experienced hotelier, Pierre Boudville as the resort manager. The duo have formed a good partnership to ensure the smooth operations at the premier resort.
Meanwhile, Neoh embarked on his career in the vibrant city of Penang, Neoh honed his skills at renowned establishments such as Orchard Hotel Penang, Shangri-La Penang, and Equatorial Penang.
His international experience further expanded with roles at Summit Parkview in Yangon, Dusit Princess Srinakarin in Bangkok and Dusit Thani Pattaya. Notably, he spent over a decade with Dusit International, where he not only refined his managerial acumen but also embraced the Thai language, enhancing his rapport with international guests.
In July 2023, Neoh returned to Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi, a place he had previously served from 2004 to 2010. Under his stewardship, the resort embarked on a significant RM105 million renovation, introducing the Horizon Pool and Café, and enhancing its facilities to offer a more luxurious experience.
Neoh’s leadership was instrumental in steering the resort towards its 35th anniversary celebrations in December 2024, where he emphasized the importance of continuous transformation and the dedication of the entire team.
Beyond his professional achievements, Neoh is known for his personal touch. Guests have lauded the resort’s staff for their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication, attributes that Neoh has cultivated through his leadership.
