The Eastin Hotel Penang carried out the corporate social responsibility project with a visit to the Pinetree Home-Care, located in Pantai Jerejak Penang recently.

The visit is also in conjunction with Chinese New Year and brings cheer to the residents.

The home houses a total of 29 elderly residents.

The team was led by hotel manager Ms Winnie Suzan Yip and management team members.

The session saw the Eastin team mingling with the elderly residents to share joy and camaraderie.

In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, the event was graced by the appearance of the God of Prosperity, who spread good fortune and blessings throughout the home.

The lively occasion also featured engaging games, bringing smiles and laughter to all, followed by a traditional cake cutting ceremony and photo-taking session, ensuring that these memorable moments were captured in photographs for everyone to cherish.

The celebration continued with a deliciously arranged lunch, offering a warm and hearty meal for the residents, in keeping with the festive spirit of Chinese New Year.

“At Eastin, we believe that true prosperity lies in giving back to our community, especially during times of celebration like Chinese New Year. This visit to Pinetree Home-Care is a testament to our commitment to social responsibility and to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most,” said Yip.

The Eastin Hotel Penang hopes to continue to bridge corporate values with community well-being, creating a lasting difference for future generations.
